This week: The vaudevillian life of Nora Bayes, starting with the vaudeville lullaby that my kids heard night after night as they grew up in the world of the Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue. Included in this vodcast is Al Hirshfeld who captured show business in his wonderful simple lines for over 70 years.

My son Cole after one of the hundreds of vaudeville shows that he would be a part of his future.
Backstage with Cole – who was doing the job as stage manager at the follies. Cole came with me into the Grant Simpson Vaudeville Revues, the Klondike Follies, the Furlesque Shows – and on any other show that I did. Nothing put my nerves more at ease than to know I had Cole there as my stage manager.
